The group gathered by the Ice Cream Churn and marched past city hall and the police station down to the fire station on the corner of Center and North Main streets chanting and waving signs. Marchers and police mingled as they walked, maintaining a respectful and peaceful atmosphere.

At the fire station, the marchers turned around and marched back to the area by the Ice Cream Churn, where they gathered to listen to speakers, including Police Chief Brian Gould, Mayor Ellen Zoppo-Sassu, City Councilman Scott Rosado and individual protesters.

Daneirys Rivera, Faith Fenty and Brandy Kariel organized the march.
